Meet Somi, born Ennik Somi Douma on March 9, 2001, in Ontario, Canada, a South Korean-Canadian singer and songwriter. She blew up after crushin’ it on the 2016 reality show Produce 101, nabbin’ first place and debutin’ as the center of the girl group I.O.I.

When the group split, Somi went solo, signin’ with The Black Label under YG Entertainment. She dropped her first single “Birthday” in 2019, cementin’ her as a legit risin’ star in K-pop.
