Nadja Benaissa (born April 26, 1982) is a German singer, TV personality, and sometimes actress. She blew up in 2000 after auditioning for Popstars on RTL II, landing a spot in the all-girl pop group No Angels, which became the top-selling German girl band ever. After dropping hits with the crew, she went solo with her debut album Schritt für Schritt in 2006. Recorded all in German, it leaned into soul, R&B, and jazz but had so-so sales.

In February 2010, German cops charged her with causing bodily harm for not telling three sexual partners between 2004 and 2006 she was HIV-positive. That August, she was found guilty, got a two-year suspended sentence, and 300 hours of community service. In September 2010, she bounced from No Angels for personal reasons, leaving the group as a trio.
