Meet Íngrid Rubio Ruiz, born August 2, 1975, in Barcelona, Spain, a heavy-hitter in Spanish cinema. She snagged a Special Mention Award at the 1996 San Sebastián International Film Festival for her role in Taxi.

Since ‘95, she’s been in over 20 flicks, gettin’ named one of European Film’s “Shooting Stars” in ‘98. She’s been crushin’ it in Spanish-Argentine joint projects like El Faro (1999), The Impatient Alchemist (2002), and Hermanas (2005), often playin’ a sister. Also, she’s been shinin’ on TV, like in the mini-series El corazón del océano.
