Meet Genevieve O’Reilly, Irish actress, born January 6, 1977, who’s know as Mon Mothma in the “Star Wars” universe, startin’ with “Revenge of the Sith”, and voicin’ the wicked Moira in “Overwatch”.
She kicked off her TV industry in 2001, poppin’ up as a guest in BeastMaster’s “Slayer’s Return.” In 2002, she played Kimberly Oswald in Young Lions’ “Asylum Seekers” episode. From 2002 to 2005, she held it down as Leanne Curtis in “All Saints”. Between 2011 and 2014, she was a recurring face in “Episodes” with Matt LeBlanc. In 2014, she lit up the mini-series “The Honourable Woman” as Frances Pirsig across six episodes. In 2015, she took on Mary Johnson in the BBC’s “Banished”. By 2016, she was gettin’ major love for her “beautiful” role in the British drama “The Secret”.
On the big screen, Genevieve’s been no slouch either. She played Dash MacKenzie in “Avatar” (2004), Lady Flora Hastings in “The Young Victoria” (2009), and Eve in the 2010 rom-com “Forget Me Not”.
