Esmée Denters, born September 28, 1988, is a Dutch singer and YouTube star. She kicked off her music grind in 2006, postin’ covers of tracks by artists like Justin Timberlake and Natasha Bedingfield on YouTube.

By mid-2008, at just 19, she was one of the first to rack up over 100 million views, outpacin’ 50 Cent (91 million) and Michael Jackson (74 million). Only Britney Spears had her beat with 181 million. Timberlake then scooped her up as the first artist on his label, Tennman Records. She dropped her debut album, Outta Here, in May 2009.
